Bioko island book series

BBPP helps to foster a culture of biodiversity conservation on Bioko Island in many ways. One of the most important strategies is to provide opportunities for young Equatoguineans to develop an appreciation of their country’s unique biodiversity heritage. Our very successful BBPP program for school-aged children focuses on Bioko’s most unique and iconic animal groups: sea turtles and monkeys. Our existing sea turtle educational program is built around two award-winning books: Moon Over Bioko and Sea Turtles of Bioko Island. Our primate program focuses on Chatter in the Caldera and Monkeys of Bioko Island. Both the turtle and monkey books are beautifully illustrated, scientifically accurate, and are used to teach elementary school children (ages 7-12).
